Approve New Town Park Restroom Project - YES
We’ve heard loud and clear from the community in recent years that the current restrooms at Town Park are insufficient in both quality and quantity. We responded by working with residents in public workshops to design a new restroom facility, and by seeking grant funding to help offset the cost. In various public meetings community members have provided input on location, amenities, aesthetics, and security features, and I’m confident in the project that resulted from this process. The total project cost is estimated at $712,000, with $178,000 coming from grants. I voted to approve the Town Park restroom replacement as the current restrooms are clearly at the end of their service life.
