I am proud to have voted yes on accepting state funds for local infrastructure projects. The funding comes from the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, which works to improve roads, freeways, and bridges along with helping improve public transportation and safety. Corte Madera will receive an estimated $550,000 of funding over the next year, and we plan to use these funds for road resurfacing projects and sidewalk improvements on over 30 streets and thoroughfares around town. We are honored to bring these state resources to benefit our community and look forward to seeing the results.
