Our decision to let businesses like shops and restaurants operate outside, including on public property, proved to be a critical lifeline to the local businesses that make Corte Madera hum. As the pandemic continues to drag on longer than anyone could have foreseen, I voted to extend that opportunity, helping our valued local businesses stay afloat through the pandemic.
