This construction contract aims to enhance pedestrian and bicycle access by reconstructing paths on Wornum Drive, installing a bike path on Nellen Avenue, enhancing crosswalks with flashing lights, and repaving selected roads. The Wornum Drive path construction will occur from June 17 to August 16, minimizing disruption to students and parents during the school year. This work will be coordinated with the painting of a mural (approved last year) so these projects do not conflict with each other. This project will enhance equity and inclusion in the Corte Madera by making commuting by bike and foot more accessible and safer. Critically, this project is funded entirely by a state grant, meaning Corte Madera taxpayers will not be spending a dime to realize these improvements.
